Beth H.D. Carrier

Beth moved to Vermont when she was 10 years old. After graduating from the University of Vermont in 1973, she moved to the Stowe area, drawn by the allure of "The Mountain". Beth has resided in Lamoille county for twenty-eight years, the last twenty-two in Hyde Park. Hyde Park is that quintessential village that you dream of, conveniently located to both Stowe and Smugglers' Notch. Beth is the mother of three children, two of whom are currently attending college. She is active in the Lamoille County Players productions, as well as Girl Scouts, choir, and school activities.

Beth started her real estate career as a broker in Stowe, over twenty years ago. She has been active in various facets of real estate, including sales, rentals, and property management. In 1988, Beth joined Luce Hill Appraisal Associates, and has been appraising real estate since that time. She has been a licensed real estate appraiser since licensure started in the State of Vermont.

Beth specializes in appraising residential properties. Her area of expertise includes all of Lamoille county ( Cambridge, Hyde Park, Johnson, Morristown, Eden, Elmore, Wolcott, Stowe, Waterville and Belvidere), and surrounding towns such as Hardwick, Craftsbury, Albany, and Fletcher.

Beth's years of experience and knowledge of the local market combine to provide you with a high quality appraisal product.

Larry Sands  ("Homer")

Specializes in appraising residential property in Lamoille County and Waterbury, with particular expertise in Stowe where he makes his home.

After graduating from Cornell University in 1973, Homer moved to the Stowe area and "can't imagine living anywhere other than Vermont". His initial tenure as an auditor for the Mt. Mansfield Company provided ample opportunities to ski and to enjoy the natural beauty that Stowe and Lamoille County have to offer. In the late 1970's he turned to the real estate profession as a salesman and a broker, and also bought, built and sold many properties in the local area.

By 1980 his interest had focused on real estate appraising, as the need for qualified and knowledgeable people in this growing field became evident. He has been a full time appraiser with Luce Hill Associates since 1983, the longest tenure of anyone presently with the firm.

Homer specializes in appraising residential property in Lamoille County and Waterbury, with particular expertise in Stowe where he makes his home. His experience from almost three decades of work in the local market ensures that you will receive an accurate and comprehensive appraisal product. Just ask around; its likely that some of your friends and neighbors are satisfied clients. When he is not in the office or on assignment, chances are you will find him on one of Stowe's legendary Front Four, at the ice rink, or touring around Stowe's back roads on his bicycle.

Tim Sullivan

Provides the commercial services for Luce Hill Appraisal Associates.

Tim provides the commercial services for Luce Hill Appraisal Associates. This includes properties whose complexity requires a broader scope than more typical residential properties. As a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, he has the most comprehensive license offered by the State of Vermont and can appraise any type of real estate. He has a comprehensive understanding of the real estate in the northern portions of the state, including its small to mid size population centers. Growing up in a real estate family with offices in Stowe has provided him the opportunity to become acquainted with, and understand, a wide variety of commercial and residential property. In addition, a family farming background has instilled a love and understanding of agricultural properties and timberland that he applies often in the appraisal field.

Tim's education includes a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Vermont and extensive coursework from the Appraisal Institute, of which he is an associate member. In addition to the appraisal field, he has related experience as a residential and commercial property manager, and in the construction field. Avocations include forestry, construction and farming.

Any profile would not be complete without mentioning his beautiful wife Valerie, daughter Isabelle, and son George, who would prefer he spend less time in the office. Their loss, however, is your gain. "I enjoy what I do and take pride in my work." The results speak for themselves.
